Ji Young-Jin is the CEO and Founder of Motioncare Pilates since its inception in 2017.
Known for his affable yet powerhouse work ethic and constant drive to challenge what is possible, Ji has an impressive academic and professional career spanning 23 years.
A former Physiotherapist and Rehabilitation Specialist, Ji owned and operated five Rehabilitation Centers as Lead Physiotherapist as well as seven franchised centers in Seoul until 2015. It was during this time that he became obsessed with preventative therapy options and eventually founded Motioncare Pilates.
Prior to this, Ji served as Physiotherapy Team Leader for 4 years at Bucheon Hyundai Hospital and another 4 years at Meand Fitness.
He was Mandatory Trainer for the Korean National Team at the Sochi Paralympics (2014), the Sochi Olympics (2014) and Beijing Paralympics (2008). He was also Team Trainer for the KTF Professional Basketball Team (2002) and Korean National Youth Football Team (2001).
Ji has served on several university and hospital medical research teams since 2000, specializing in rehabilitation and healthcare equipment, including his role as former Head of Medical Research at the Taeyeon Medical Research Institute. He is a respected member of the Medical Subcommittee of the Korean Sports Association for the Disabled, sharing his expertise and direct lived-experience with people with disabilities.
Ji earned his Doctoral Degree in IT Sports Convergence from Soongsil University, after earning both a Master of Science degree in Special Physical Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Yongin University.
